Middlecleugh Level is being conserved by Trust members.  We will be working on draining water from the main crosscut level and exploring the distant parts of the mine.  Conditions are wet - water is up to 0.8 metres deep. Wear suitable clothing and bring food.  Shovels, mattocks and picks also required.

A limited number of helmets and lamps are available from Trust stocks - early booking is essential if you require a Trust lamp. Lamps must be booked by phoning Pete Jackson on 01642564100 after 1900 hrs on any weekday.
