Curriculum
Most of our programmes are cross-curricular although they may focus on a particular subject area. The vast open upland landscape of Nenthead with its history of lead mining contrasts with the more intimate setting of historic Dilston, allowing us to offer a diverse range of programmes for both onsite and outreach visits. The range of workshops is constantly under review. The Board of the Trust and its officers have a wide range of knowledge and expertise in many different curriculum areas which we are able to draw upon to develop specific programmes for Further and Higher Education, Life Long Learning and specific interest groups. Our curriculum is also sufficiently flexible to offer programmes for special needs groups.
